"Military Stories of Ukrainian Women"
The purpose of this book is twofold: to educate society about the diverse roles women assume according to their wants and needs during wartime and to preserve their stories for future generations. In doing so, we hope to raise awareness and consciousness about the inequalities and stereotypes associated with the allocation of roles between men and women during war in Ukraine.
Through this project, we seek to recognize and appreciate the significance of the variety of roles and accomplishments of women during war, including those of defenders, volunteers, mothers, and caregivers. We aim to underscore that a stereotypical distribution of roles can lead to inequality and limit opportunities for women in society.
Goal of the book
The goal is to emphasize that acknowledging and valuing women's accomplishments in diverse roles is crucial for establishing a just, democratic, and equitable society that honors all its members
